The Cost of Being Me

Title: The Cost of Being Me

Episode Summary

At 17, I was outed—before I was ready, before I had a plan, before I even fully understood myself. In this episode, I share what it was like to have my truth taken from me and the fallout that followed. Moving out, trying to survive on my own, and missing my family so much that I ultimately made a choice I never thought I would: I gave up my own identity just to have them back.

This is my story of survival, sacrifice, and the complicated love that ties us to the people we come from. And, most importantly, what it took to finally reclaim me.

What You’ll Hear in This Episode:

✨ The moment I was outed and how it changed everything ✨ Leaving home at 17 and what survival looked like ✨ The unbearable ache of missing my family ✨ Why I made the choice to deny my identity just to be accepted ✨ The cost of that decision—and in future episodes you will hear how I made my way back to myself.
