If you want to know what matters to someone, listen to what they talk about. As we read through the Bible and listen to the words of Christ, we can discover what matters to Him. 

A good summary is found in the Great Commission where Jesus instructed His disciples to preach the Gospel, baptize those who believed and make disciples of them. 

Discipleship is more than going to church 1 or 2 times a week. It is more than being stirred by songs and preaching. Discipleship is a new life orientation. It is being a life-long committed follower of Jesus Christ.
