We can all agree money is important. When it comes to matters of the heart, how much does “love” cost? Relationships today seem to be fairly transactional. If you do this, I’ll do that. Some people are more interested in one’s financial abilities than they are by love and connection. Who do we hold accountable for this? Is it the men leading with their wallets or the women receiving expensive gifts as trade offs for their time? Somehow we have given money more importance than loyalty, respect, adoration and admiration. We are all to blame as true love doesn’t cost a thing.
