Well, Its April the 15th, the day chiefly known as tax day. But that, like so many other things in the economy, has been postponed because of the quarantine associated with the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus.

Now, yesterday was the beginning of Earnings Season, as the first of the big banks reported their last quarters' results. And I've suggested that this is the first real measure of the impact that this quarantine has had upon the economy.

Up until now we have been guessing. Various pundits and analysis have estimated what they thought would be the impact.

But now we get the real numbers, from real corporations on just how their business is doing. Real numbers from real income statements.
