Today’s podcast is called The Count Light, Dayroom, and Ice. Sleep deprivation has been ruled illegal.  Prison staff cannot purposefully deprive inmates of sleep, yet it still happens.  When guards finish conducting their regular headcounts, they leave the lights on in the wings.  The lights are bright, and most inmates wake up.  This happens nearly every night.  My father has sent me a series of emails on this topic.  I am going to share them with you now.
