During the COVID-19 pandemic, many have decided to buy/adopt pets in response to social isolation and 'free time' because of remote work, leading to unprecedented rise in pet ownership, long waiting list and high pet price. However, now that everything is starting to get back to normal, there is rising concern with the animal welfare.
