The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Last week, we discussed a female listener who's struggling with a snooping White manager. The White Woman now schedules once per week 30 minute chats about non-work related issues. We discussed whether to employ deception during the exchanges - to fabricate family details and free time activities to share, or if non-white people should make an explicit demarcation between our professional and personal life. One Victim of Racism suggests using appointments with White supervisors to solve problems and request constructive information that will aid your current job and/or career development. We'll also discuss the ongoing confusion and changes surrounding Covid-19 and vaccine mandates. We'll also encourage non-white people to be alert for potential dangers associated with "women's history month." Just like in February, listen, perhaps ask questions, and always avoid statements pertaining to this subject matter.

On 6/15/2022 The ACLU National releases the full 170-page bombshell report titled: Captive Labor Exploitation of Incarcerated Workers.

"Though this report centers on the gratuitously harsh conditions of contemporary prison labor, it is embedded in larger conversations about racism, sexism, the U.S. criminal legal system, the 13th Amendment, and the ultimate morality of this country’s vast network of prisons, jails, and detention facilities."

Yusuf and Max have been digging through the report and we'll pull out some major highlights. 

It's our last broadcast before we hit the road on our way to NC and VT.  On 6/17/22 Max will be the Plenary Speaker at the Southern Appalachian Yearly Meeting and Association of the Religious Society of Friends. Also known as the Quakers. After a dozen years of working with the Quakers, Community Max is hoping to see them rededicate themselves as traditional and present allies of the US slavery abolitionist movement. Then, from June 18th through 21st, the abolitionist crew is rolling into the grand-daddy of all exception clauses, Vermont, for Juneteenth events. Including Curtis Davis, Tribal Raine, Max Parthas, Yusuf Hassan, and more! We'll have Spoken Word, a live panel discussion, meet and greet, and will broadcast S3-E23 of Abolition Today LIVE FROM VERMONT!

We've got it all in S3-E22. The facts, the momentum, the history, the music, the truth, and the voices of the ancestors were brought back to life for a new generation. You may choose to look the other way, but after today, you can never again say that you did not know.

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

Investigations and criminal proceedings related to the insurrection on January 6th, 2021 continue, even though there's still no evidence that Whites will adequately prosecute all of the Whites involved in last year's murder and mayhem. This week, reports continued to emphasize the role of White Supremacists individuals and groups in the Washington D.C. terrorism. Also this week, members of Congress passed gun legislation in response to the most recent public shootings in Uvalde and Buffalo. Most experts have acknowledged these proposals have little chance of being approved by the Senate. In Arizona, enforcement officers watched a non-white male, Sean Bickings, drown in front of them and made no effort to intervene.

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. We'll review reports the Wells Fargo conducted "fake" interviews under the pretense of commitment to diversity inclusion and equity. Non-white people were interviewed for jobs that were already promised to White candidates. We'll also discuss the tragic shooting death of Dr. Preston Phillips, who was killed in last week's Tulsa, Oklahoma hospital shooting. This is a painful illustration of why non-white people, especially those classified as black, should prioritize their security and well-being and inquire, often if needed, about safety initiatives and workplace violence prevention. We'll also hear updates on Covid-19 in the workplace, and the institutional dangers to black children.

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the fourth study session on Catherine Pelonero's 2017 publication, Absolute Madness: A True Story of a Serial Killer, Race, and a City Divided. Since we started this book, Buffalo's most recent White Terrorist, Payton Gendron, was charged with 10 counts of first degree murder and one count of a Domestic Act of Terrorism Motivated by Hate in the First Degree. The latter charge is unprecedented in New York state history. Last week, Pelonero detailed the gruesome murders of Parler Edwards and Ernest Jones in October 1980. Both black male cab drivers had their hearts extracted after being killed. Erie County District Attorney Ed Cosgrove denied a link between these two mutilations and the four previous shooting deaths of black males. He then pivoted to admonish black people for criticizing White police officers and peddling "divisive, selfish ideas" and conspiracy theories about a Racist plot against black people. Five days after this press conference, the Bowen Homes Day Care Center exploded in Atlanta, Georgia killing 5 black children. This blast, reportedly the result of a gas leak, was concurrent but unrelated to the ongoing "Atlanta Child Murders." The Buffalo/New York and Atlanta attacks of black people would continue and remain unsolved for the remainder of the year.
