The Context of White Supremacy welcomes June BlueSpruce and Lisa Iverson. Gus was frolicking in Seattle's posh Green Lake area, when he stumbled on a flier for a group discussion titled: "Whiteness Is Not An Ancestor: book study and reflection." The two session event would be led by June BlueSpruce, a White Woman. She lives in the Seattle area and penned one of the essays in the book, which features 12 separate reports from White Women. The collection was edited by Lisa Iverson, also a White Woman. We'll discuss their motivations for this project and the results of their recent zoom project. We'll explore what it means to be White as well as Ms. BlueSpruce's connections to the #MedicalApartheid industry and the Oakland Black Panther Party.
