Our Goddesses of the Day came through LOUD: Nana Buluku #1, Goddess of Seasons, reminds us that we’re entering a new cycle and there are no shortcuts. Tituba #4 reminds us that it is safe to be safe. Then Water brings the message of SURRENDER — stop forcing, stay fluid, and let the current show you where you’re going.

And then the surrender card put the cherry on top: Surrender Your Desire to Control People. Sometimes the new pattern is simply sitting on your hands, giving the situation breathing room, and realizing you don’t have to respond to everything.

August’s word is still RECEIVE. Receive the information. Manage your response. Expand beyond the old pattern.

Our August word is RECEIVE, and on this Universal Day 5, we’re talking change, desire, sacrifice, endings, boundaries, full power—and leaving room for a damn miracle.

👑 Goddess Ngame — Desire, Number 8: What I desire desires me. Dream bigger. Get specific about what you want. Does your desire come from love, or are you choosing what feels safe because you’re afraid to want MORE?

🙃 The Hanged Man: Change your perspective. If you keep doing the same shit, you’re going to keep getting the same results. And baby—SLOW DOWN. Hold, please. You don’t have to force an answer while you’re still gaining clarity.

✨ Make Necessary Sacrifices: You keep saying you want something different, but what are you willing to change to make room for it? Short-term comfort may have to move for long-term fulfillment.

💀 Skull — Endings: An ending isn’t always a loss. Sometimes it’s fertile ground. Grieve what ended, accept what you cannot change, and then ask yourself: What am I planting here next?

And apparently ONE surrender card wasn’t enough today. 😂 We got THREE:

Surrender to Your Full Power. Stop playing small.

Surrender to Setting Limits. Express your needs. NO is a complete sentence.

Surrender to Miracles. Stop deciding something can’t happen just because you don’t know HOW it’s going to happen.

And then I had my own moment. I cried listening to Happy Days, one of the songs from the album I’ve been creating. I already have five songs finished—and today’s reading made me ask myself why the hell I paused something that brings me that much joy.

Sometimes the message you’re giving everybody else turns around and says:

Okay, Goddess Telly… now YOU pick it up.

We’re also talking about what real support looks like. Don’t keep asking somebody, “What do you need?” if you’re not listening when they tell you. Support isn’t only money—it can be presence, sharing, administering, connecting, showing up, paying attention and understanding the assignment.

Everybody says everybody needs a Telly.
