Jason was the frontman for a country-rock band called Wasted Highway for the last several years. He recently embarked on a solo career and is now called the Jason Mayer Band.

His band consists of several of the old band members still, so the band's core has been together for a long time. They are currently touring the country, building the name, and gaining a following with the new name. Jason is living his passion. He and host Robert Van Arlen mash it up as these two entertainers make a special connection.
