These messages on the uniqueness of God’s creation are presented for two reasons.  First to draw attention to God’s amazing genius on display all around us, and second is to expose people to the massive amounts of evidence available that prove the impossibility of the accidental existence of life on earth.  “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” Romans 1:20

  In this message four of God’s creations are considered that display the complexity that was incorporated as God spoke, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind”.  He didn’t import them from some other place; it was a new creation for this current world that he was re-creating, a fresh creation that would house beings made in his own image.  The absolute genius involved in creating by the spoken word is beyond mortal man’s ability to understand and that’s the primary reason to reject it.  When people don’t believe they close their mind to evidence that they haven’t personally experienced.   

  King David wrote, “O taste and see that the LORD is good”.  This is the perfect example of “trust first then you will see”.  Just try to get a child to try to taste something that they don’t like the look of, and they will refuse adamantly.  Why do children automatically reject an offer like that?  Had the parent or guardian tried to trick them previously by lying to them?  Maybe they just didn’t like the look of it.  Maybe they actually had tried something similar and didn’t like it, but the only way to know is taste and see.  It is just like that with spiritual things, they can’t be communicated with words, and they are only proven by personal experience.
