On the evening of his crucifixion Jesus met with his disciples. He washed their feet, told them that his time to leave had come, and he introduced a new command. “Love one another” he said. The future, the credibility, of his Church, would depend on their obedience to that command. This sermon looks at the meaning of authentic community and how we carry out this command within our church community.
