Prior to joining Suburban Propane, Doug spent nearly two decades advising public & private entities on all things Renewable, all aspects of Renewable Energy projects, advocating for environmental & energy policies & supporting climate change initiatives. Doug serves on several boards & with several industry groups including the Board of Directors of Low Carbon Fuel Coalition, the Board of Directors for the Advanced Biofuels Association, and the Executive Committee of the International DME Association. Doug holds his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & Environmental studies, a double Masters from Yale University (including Environmental Management) & his JD from Vermont Law School.
