Early in the Bible story, we learn of a tree whose fruit offered the promise of eternal life. Sadly, when humans turned in rebellion against God access to this tree of life was prohibited. God, however, was not finished and the story of the Bible shows the journey back to this tree. Ironically, for humanity to eat from this tree and gain life, the Son of God had to die. In more irony, He died on a tree. In this study, we'll expolore the connection between the tree, the death of Jesus, and humanity’s hope for eternal life.
