Why did Jesus go to the cross? Why couldn’t God have just spoke forgiveness without such a graphic, painful way of dealing with sin? What does the Cross answer for us? These are all questions that we have when we consider the person of Jesus. From the beginning, the Cross was the key to seeing God’s love displayed. The cross points us to the truth that God’s promises will be accomplished no matter what.
