The Crow’s Wife, also known as The Tale of the Hoodie or The Hoodie-Crow, is a Scottish folk tale first published in writing in “Popular Tales of the West Highlands”, collected and published by John Francis Campbell in 1860. Andrew Lang also published a version of this story in his “Lilac Fairy Book”. This story format appears all over the world, such as in Ancient Greece’s “Eros and Psyche”, or Norway’s “East of the Sun, West of the Moon”
