The Startup Coach: On this episode of The Cryptocurrency podcast I talked to Pierre the founder of Blockchain Radio streaming Blockchain and Cryptocurrency information twenty-four hours a day seven days a week and on the second part of the podcast there is a presentation by Erin Taylor from Peblik. From the July Toronto Cryptocurrency conference talking about the world’s first Cryptocurrency asset back by natural resources.

Welcome back to the Cryptocurrency podcast and today I’m here with Pierre from Blockchain radio. Welcome, Pierre.

 

Pierre Bourque of Blockchain.Radio: Great to be with you Craig, great to be with you.

The Startup Coach: So tell me what is Blockchain radio?

Pierre Bourque of Blockchain.Radio: Well that’s a great question, Blockchain radio essentially is all about access. It’s about access to knowledge; it’s about access to newsmakers, access to the movers and shakers, of the Blockchain space. If you flip that around it’s also access to the community at large by those who are at the epicenter and are looking to get their message out, looking for recognition on what they are doing. But also looking for opportunity based on the insights that they see, so it’s a two-way street it’s all about access.

The Startup Coach: So where do I find Blockchain radio?

Pierre Bourque of Blockchain.Radio: Blockchain radio is very easy to find Blockchain.radio on the internet.

The Startup Coach: So it’s a streaming service online, you had mentioned to me earlier that is twenty-four seven?

Pierre Bourque of Blockchain.Radio: Yes, in fact, I was going to add that our tagline is twenty-four seven news talk and Blockchain analyses. So we have a little bit of all of that, we’re looking for a country from our listeners, we have a dynamic hosts from around the world that are participating with us its twenty-four seven. So if you wake up in the dead of night, you want to listen to Blockchain radio pull it up on your laptop, your mobile, whatever your platform of preference is.

The Startup Coach: So tell me about some of the shows and some of the hosts you have going on now?

Pierre Bourque of Blockchain.Radio: It’s a variety Craig; it’s everything from the serious aspect of fintech David Moorcroft who is a former senior vice president of the world bank of Canada. Canada’s largest bank is hosting a weekly show. Where he delves into the banking aspects of a Blockchain world, in terms of how Blockchain is going to change banking. Not so much about how banking is going to adapt to Blockchain but how it’s going to deploy Blockchain for the betterment of that industry. He’s has got global contacts it’s going to be fantastic. On the other side of that, we got people that are going to focus on health industry on societal activities, on social welfare, on just a just a whole about a heck of a lot of issues, relating to what’s breaking news, on the day on the moment, we wanna be just like any other talk radio station, lots of information lots of breaking news.

The Startup Coach: It sounds fantastic; I know I have been talking to you about hopefully starting a show soon if we get the audience I’ve got something planned and exciting. What other kind of host or listeners are you looking for?
