we decided to incorporate skin whitening and fake tanning into one episode as it was interesting to compare the two. fake tanning is quite a prominent thing to do in the western world as its seen as beautiful to have bronze and golden skin. vice versa in non-western countries we see fairer skin colours being the representation of the beauty industry.  we delve deeper into the culture of discussing the history and where and why this has become a greater problem of society.
