On Saturday, 44-year-old nurse anesthetist Rajaee Black said he shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, Tara Labang, in downtown Baltimore. Soon after, Rajee Black began streaming himself on Facebook. In the stunning video, he admits to killing Labang, saying she was pregnant and was going to deny him custody. Rajee Black then tells viewers his ex-wife, Wendy Natalie Black, is next on his hit list. He then proceeds to drive 30 minutes away, to Columbia, Maryland, to her home. Once he has arrived, he turns the camera toward his ex-wife, before charging at her. Then, the video cuts out.

Now, local news outlets have revealed that Wendy Black, having been threatened by her ex-husband, had sought protective orders against him but was repeatedly denied. The most recent was about a year prior to her murder. In her claim, she wrote, "He threatened to kill me with a gun … he has pushed, shoved, threatened, and bit me in the past."

Her explanation continued, "I am afraid of him and his anger and do not want him to know where I live." She also said, "He has access to weapons" and that she felt her life was in serious danger.Wendy Black clearly knew her ex-husband was a threat and tried desperately to get help. The question that remains now is why weren't her concerns taken seriously?
