The Curious Curators Episode 19: Women's Suffrage

Listen Later

The Curious Curators are back! This time, they're talking about women's suffrage and gaining the right to vote. Women fought for the right to vote in the United States for decades, and it wasn't until 1920 that the 19th Amendment was passed, stating that they could not be denied the right to vote based on sex. Today we'll discuss the events leading up to this event and the importance of Tennessee as a turning point, 100 years later.
