Social media is a horrible place to spend any of your emotional income. Yet some of us grow extremely poor spending it in a place we shouldn't, we stretch ourselves sop thin, that we don't have any more emotional income to spend in places that truly matter.

For me I usually spend most of my emotional income in the presence of God, at Church and in close relationships with people who truly matter. With friends who on more than one occasion have said something that helped me or challenged me. But the emotional income I spent was well worth it.
