In the 1980s, a series of mysterious fires swept across England, leaving homes and businesses in ruins, yet inexplicably, one item often remained untouched: a mass produced painting of a tearful child known as "The Crying Boy". As reports of these unscathed paintings mounted, British tabloids fueled fears of a curse, leading to widespread hysteria and a mass burning of the artworks on Halloween 1985. Despite investigations and attempts to disprove the curse, the legend of "The Crying Boy" endures, any many refuse to let the painting ever come to their home in fear of what may happen.
