In my last episode I spilled the tea on professionalism in the salon, what it means to be a professional cosmetologist and what to look for to get the best result for your hair. On the flip side, this episode is about the customer side - because people aren’t taught how to be a good customer, apparently.

This can look like:

  • Not liking rules that are set in place
  • Not respecting time
  • Wanting exactly what they want exactly when they want it
  • Taking forever at the window then getting mad that the service takes time
  • Changing their mind mid-service
  • Showing up late and asking for extras

If any of those sound like you, there are ways to fix it! To provide the best service, people should not have to read your mind. If you want good customer service, you need to be a good customer. In this episode, I’ll give you a detailed lesson on what it means to be a professional customer and once you do, you’ll be amazed at the customer service you’ll receive.
