Iowa State's rushing offense improved against the Hawkeyes compared to its Week 1 showing, but Jaylen Raynor completed just over 50% of his passes in the loss, so improvement is still needed in the passing offense's efficiency.

But Iowa State's defense bottled up Iowa's rushing attack, limiting the Hawkeyes to only 93 rushing yards in the victory.
