The D & Davis Show is back with a show stocked full of culture, sports, movies & comic book discussion. The gang leads off with ESPN’s long awaited African-American sports and culture site The Undefeated. Then they’ll flip the script to local discussion on the Chicago Sky, Bears, Cubs & White Sox. Have you seen Captain America: Civil War? They’ll travel out west to get an experts opinion on the film. Finally the gang will preview OKC Thunder versus the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals.
Senior writer for The Undefeated Jerry Bembry returns to the D & Davis Show to discuss The Undefeated site going live this week. Jerry will also highlight some of the difference you will notice from The Undefeated reporting/writing compared to other sports and cultural website. So basically this will enable you to become woke!
In studio Redeye Chicago Sports Editor Chris Sosa returns to the show to breakdown the start of the Chicago Sky season. His thoughts on the NFL draft’s return to Chicago and the Bears draft picks. You know Chicago is the center of the baseball universe, so Chris will let us know what to expect from the North and South side teams down the stretch.
Comedian, movie star and host of The Trusty Sidekick Podcast Jay Washington returns to give us his thoughts on Captain America: Winter Soldier. Jay will also let us into his world since he has moved to Los Angeles and what we can expect from his show The Trusty Sidekick.
NBA draft argument recommences as Kevin compares Ben Simmons missing class to Johnny Manziel’s shenanigans.
Last up we remain focused on the west coast; Cliff Brunt sports writer for the Associated Press comes on the show to let us know what we can expect in the Western Conference Finals with the Thunder versus the Warriors. Cliff will also let us know where Kevin Durant may be taking his basketball talents next season.
