Governor Kay Ivey has allocated more than $7.6 million to improve highway safety across Alabama’s 76 counties. 

The Montgomery County Board of Education has appointed Jamie Wilson, current chief of staff for Montgomery Public Schools (MPS), as the interim superintendent. This follows the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Melvin Brown, effective November 1.
