Yaughdeady, what do we have here? Now without a doubt one of my favorite things to do, when i'm doodling or sketching. Having something be the main focal point, something personified, something you can relate to as the focal point of the piece. Have it surrounded by space that is taken up but its just space. There Is like this star-ey colorful background,  even though it takes up a majority of the piece of paper. Its entire purpose is to really emphasis the focal point of the piece. This personified box, i don't know what it is, its almost like if a carton of cigarettes was really happy and came to life. That's what i look at when i see this piece a carton of cigarettes just opened its mouth grow an eyeball and a mustache. This is what it turned into but the actual occurrence is so fantastical, similarly to how a Pokemon evolves, it is just exploding with energy. Everything is turned on in the near vicinity. It's just always good to have a background that only serves to intensify the focal point of the entire piece, that's why this is definitely one of my favorites.
