Episode 32. We survived the move to Florida — barely, and one TV didn't make it.

I'm two episodes into a Minecraft blind run despite never having touched the game, and I've already walked straight into lava.

The main event: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launched July 9th, and I think the 2013 original is still the better game. Combat, movement, ship controls, no health kits, weapon variety — the old one wins all five. I streamed the original on TikTok to make the point and chat turned on itself. Episode 31 of The Dalorrian Show. Xbox is in full crisis mode — new CEO Asha Sharma just sent a memo saying the business "cannot continue," layoffs are coming after June 30, and this is the 4th straight year of cuts despite spending billions. Nintendo officially announced an Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2 and I have thoughts. Epic dropped the Unreal Engine 6 roadmap and it's packed with AI tools — and the "don't worry, jobs are safe" closer at the end of the blog post isn't convincing me. Plus: World Cup energy, moving chaos, and I've been getting wrecked in Mount & Blade II Bannerlord and loving every second of it.

EP29 of The Dalorrian Show. Still grinding WoW Classic Era and TBC Anniversary — helping people out in the world, running Slave Pens, keeping the All Classes to 60 challenge alive. Also jumped back into Hogwarts Legacy and the game is gorgeous but something feels off — we talk about whether it actually aged well or if the IP was always carrying it harder than we admitted. Then a full State of Play breakdown: God of War Laufey's 20 minute gameplay reveal was a lot, Wolverine looks like Insomniac brought the heat, Until Dawn 2 was the pleasant surprise, Ace Combat caught our attention, and honorable mentions go to Rayman, Silent Hill Townfall, The Ill, and Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis. On the gaming side, WoW Classic leveling continues and my wife deleted our Tamagotchi Pauly Shore because her sister got too attached — he's been replaced by John Cena. In the news: Forza Horizon 6 and the photorealism debate, Rocket League becoming the first game on Unreal Engine 6, Destiny 2 officially ending on June 9 with no Destiny 3 planned, and 007 First Light from IO Interactive. Late night, unfiltered, as always.

This week: new truck chaos, a 7am walk I hated every second of, WoW Classic Shaman being surprisingly okay, my wife building celebrities in Tamagotchi Life, and the week in gaming news. FF6 AI remake goes viral, PS Plus raises prices, and GTA 6 fans spiral over a Best Buy email that meant nothing. Come hang.

This week on The Dalorrian Show: I am back in WoW Classic Era rolling a Night Elf Hunter and the all classes to 60 challenge might actually be happening. But also there are so many versions of WoW right now that it is genuinely overwhelming and we need to talk about that. I also bought a $400 internal hard drive, tried to install it, and gave up. It is still on my desk. Crimson Desert added a claw machine somehow. And in the news: Haunted Chocolatier is going to be bigger than Stardew Valley, PS6 memory specs leaked and we break down what they actually mean, and the director of the Mass Effect trilogy just got funded to make a Star Wars Old Republic RPG. Sold the motorcycle, low vitamin D, running on fumes — but the show goes on. Crimson Desert is finally done, WoW Classic Plus is looking real, Asha Sharma killed Xbox Copilot, GTA 6 is probably $80 according to Bank of America, and the Steam Machine is showing up in shipping containers. Also my wife is living her best life in Tomodachi Life and I have no notes.

My daughter is praying for Harry Potter, WoW dropped you in the Dragon Isles instead of Stormwind and somehow made things worse, Crimson Desert is in its slow middle chapter, PlayStation DRM was a panic over nothing, and GTA 6 marketing is coming — probably at the NBA Finals.

Crimson Desert refuses to end and honestly I respect it. Game Pass got cheaper but lost Call of Duty day one — I'm calling it a rebrand not a deal. Halo Infinite and Battlefield 6 prove that launching strong means nothing if you don't go the distance. AC Black Flag leaked before its own reveal and looks stunning. Windrose is secretly a chill game. And I did some car stuff for my niece's sweet sixteen.
