The reservations I have posting this unedited (or at all) are high but it’s been over a year since reading the article and it’s not getting any easier to talk about. Interracial friendships are hard. They just are and if you think they aren’t you’re likely dismissing how much the other person has to accommodate you so that you don’t notice.
