Lisa Bolton and Michelle Pepin are dedicating their lives to help those effected by drug addiction. Both Lisa and Michelle have lost a child to addiction. They say Lisa's daughter, Kerri, and Michelle's son, Ian, keep them motivated each day to prevent another parent from losing a child to drug addiction.

Lisa is the founder of The Dandelion Project which  provides counseling and support services for the youngest and oldest victims of this epidemic- the children left behind and the grandparents now raising them. Michelle is the founder of Picking Up the Pieces which provides harm reduction services, Narcan distribution and helps those in recovery while also supporting other grieving mothers.

I my interview with Lisa and Michelle, we focus on both their organizations, while also discussing the opioid epidemic and fentanyl crisis. This is a heavy interview, but very important for community members to be aware of.
