Absolom was silent about what his brother Amnon did to his sister Tamar in front of his father King David, but it boiled inside of him. He eventually killed his brother over it after two years. When we allow things to stew and simmer in our hearts for a long period of time, It can lead to a number of negative outcomes from bitter feelings and ill will to murder, all of which are equally poisonous in God's economy.
