With the town tightening its grip and the team split apart, the hunt for the Boo Hag turns into something far more dangerous.

Haze is left on his own, dodging law enforcement, chasing whispers, and trying to piece together where Coyote’s stolen skin has gone.

Strange screams echo from inside locked homes, a paranoid drifter knows more than he should, and something in the town is watching and waiting for the right moment to strike. In the chaos a team member is found and an old....friend?

As the pressure builds and sirens close in, the line between hunter and hunted begins to disappear and whatever took the skin, might already be closer than they think.

The Danger Zoo S2 E10 (Actual Play VTTRPG)

Coyote is skinless, Night Owl is unconscious, and everyone else is clueless....or are they? The girls scramble for answers as the cabin turns from shelter into a crime scene. Something got in. Something took what it wanted. And it may not be gone.

Security footage points fingers. Alibis don’t hold and the question starts to spread through the group like rot.... What's that Funky smell? Smells like B****

Who can you trust if anything can wear your face?

A local fisherman offers up a lot of helpful information, but his helping hand ends there.

Clues stack up, salt, pepper, strange rituals, and a trail only visible through New World Optics. The hunt pushes them upriver, through signs of something much larger lurking in the wilds, and finally into a quiet town where it feels like even the walls are watching them.

A wanted poster with a familiar face greets them as they enter the town.

A shopkeeper knows more than he should and offers a warning. Watch your friends.

By the time the team splits up, it’s already too late to feel safe.

Because somewhere nearby…something is already wearing a smile that doesn’t belong to it.

The Danger Zoo S2 E9 (Actual Play VTTRPG)

With the White Coffin finally out of Alabama, the D.A.N.G.E.R.Z.O.O. team heads north and stops for the night at an old cabin along the Chattahoochee River in Georgia. They hope their safety lasts for the rest of the mission. It won't but they hope.

The Gang discovers there is a warrant issued for Haze-Z, forcing the crew to keep a low profile while he nervously tries to win everyone over with late-night snacks. While exploring the cabin and the riverbank, the team uncovers strange Appalachian signs and relics: a cryptic note about skin-stealing witches, a rope smelling of damp regret, a tooth-and-twine necklace, and a jar of rice hidden beneath a bed.

Old mountain folklore says the rice is meant to slow down something that counts.

As night falls, the team settles in and Coyote takes the first watch. The woods go quiet. The river keeps moving, then the screaming starts.

After Baby Bird’s explosive finale last episode, the team wakes to a harsh realization: not everything detonates the way it’s supposed to. Someone has been moving pieces behind the curtain.

The doppelganger returns.

A Veil strike team steps into the cavern and leading them… Fox, Coyote’s replacement. His rival. His unfinished business.

As gas floods the chamber and bodies hit the stone, loyalties fracture and the White Coffin finally becomes whole. But when the nails are set, the Beacon does what it has always done, It calls.

The White Thang answers.

The Not-Deer answer.

The Undead answer

And everything else in the dark comes running.

What follows isn’t a fight. It’s a RECKONING!

Alliances collapse. Luck runs thin. And a loss hits harder than any blade.

When the White Coffin touches the earth, it calls. Not loudly. Not in words. But things hear it.

Thotty and Night Owl return, rescued by Underworld Sammy, The reunion should feel like relief… but something is wrong. Something's off, and no one seems to notice.

Haze-Z crosses paths with Maddison, the silent zombie lumberjack, only to lose her trail and encounter a masked figure radiating an aura disturbingly close to Coyote’s. Meanwhile, unexplained damage keeps striking the team as more enemies converge on the coffin’s glow.

Monsters gather. Veil agents close in. The Team's back is against the wall and THERE'S GRENADES IN BABY BIRDS HANDS!?!?!?

The Danger Zoo S2 E6 (Actual Play VTTRPG)

Coyote and Thotty descend into the massive cavern where everything went wrong. Almost immediately, something grabs Thotty from the darkness above, and the cave makes it clear this place is alive.

Baby Bird reunites with Coyote and Haze, only to find Haze suspended over a bottomless abyss, tangled in an enormous web. When Night Owl arrives to help, the relief doesn’t last long. Something about him feels… off.

A familiar figure emerges from the shadows with an unsettling truth about her identity, the cave, and Baby Bird himself. Strange new abilities surface, the undead wander the tunnels, and grotesque spider-like creatures crawl in the shadows.

As the team uncovers the White Coffin once more, nails go missing, damage comes from nowhere, and suspicion spreads through the group. Reality bends, bodies are restored in impossible ways, and just when escape seems possible…Something massive approaches and someone is sent falling into the dark!

The Danger Zoo S2 E5 (Actual Play VTTRPG)

The aftermath of the lodge’s disappearance leaves the D.A.N.G.E.R.Z.O.O. team scattered, injured, and surrounded. A massive sinkhole yawns open beneath the forest floor as feral zombies pour in from all sides, turning the fight into pure survival.

With the crew split and pressure mounting, the situation spirals fast. Desperate escapes, questionable distractions, and bad decisions collide as the team struggles to stay upright long enough to regroup. Fire, steel, and gravity do what they can — but the cost is high.

By the time the dust settles, most of the team is barely standing, answers are nowhere to be found, and the White Coffin remains frustratingly out of reach. Then one final mistake sends everything in a direction no one was prepared for.

Whatever’s beneath the mountains… it’s closer than they think.

The Danger Zoo S2 E4 (Actual Play VTTRPG)

With the Not Deer threat dealt with, the aftermath of the White Coffin’s call still lingers. The abandoned lodge remains surrounded, not by random dead, but by something more deliberate. The zombies gathering there don’t behave like mindless corpses. They watch. They wait. Almost as if they’ve been given a purpose.

As the team digs deeper, fragments of the lodge’s past begin to surface. A long-dead lumber family legacy. A daughter whose final days were marked by strange behavior in the woods. And a pattern that seems tied to the coffin itself.

New clues emerge in the form of three coffin nails, each radiating something unnatural, raising more questions than answers. Meanwhile, Baby Bird and Pretty Kitty are still unaccounted for, and time is working against the crew.

As night gives way to morning, the mountain makes one last move, and the rules of the hunt shift in a way the team wasn’t prepared for.

The coffin is close. The woods are waking up. And whatever’s guarding it isn’t finished yet.

The team finally locates the Pale Coffin… but not without consequence. In the chaos of recovery, a single mistake is made. The idiots let it touch the ground.

That moment sends a supernatural signal rippling through the mountains, a call heard by anything unnatural within reach. The earth trembles as something long buried begins to rise, and the woods respond in kind. Shapes move where animals shouldn’t. Not-Deer gather, drawn toward the coffin like moths to a flame.

With multiple forces converging, the team is forced to ask an unsettling question: do these entities need to be fought… or is surviving the encounter enough?

The mountains are waking up, and whatever answers the coffin’s call won’t be friendly.

The Danger Zoo S2 E2 (Actual Play VTTRPG)

The search for the Pale Coffin drags the D.A.N.G.E.R.Z.O.O. team deeper into the Appalachian woods, and they aren’t the only ones looking. A religious mountain sect calling themselves the Church of the Last Light confronts the crew with a message that sounds somewhere between a warning and a threat: leave the coffin where it lies.

Pretty Kitty has mysteriously vanished, but the team soon discovers a lone mercenary survivor captured and tied up by the church. With nowhere else to go, he joins the mission… and the danger.

Stranger clues begin to surface: a pair of coffin nails with unsettling properties, a carved wooden emblem marked with a symbol none of them recognize, and hints that the coffin might not be the only supernatural force at play.

The episode reaches a breaking point when Baby Bird uncovers the coffin’s hiding place, only for things to go sideways in an explosive, unexpected way. And in the aftermath, he comes face-to-face with a towering, hairy silhouette in the dark.

Whatever’s in these mountains… it isn’t done with them yet.
