We’ve all had moments where we had to persevere even though we knew the outcome may be painful. In today’s passage, Jesus perseveres in his journey to push back the evil he was sent to destroy. And while today passage starts in the triumphal entry, it will be the beginning of the end for God’s Son. The journey was dangerous, but Jesus never cowered to danger. He dared to march forward. Never doubting and his eyes focused on the cross.
