Bio: Mikhaila Redovian’s research looks at the rise of English colonialism in relation to new technologies and shipping routes in and around the 17th Century. She’s interested in how this impacted early environmental thinking and evaluations of risk and reward. Redovian uses English literature and historical texts to analyze changes from the late Dark Ages through the Renaissance.
