The Dating Game Killer - Rodney Alcala

This case begins in 1969 with a brutal attack on an 8 year old little girl in Los Angeles, CA and spans between the coasts of the United States, only ending in the mid 1980s when Rodney Alcala is finally put in prison with no chance of getting out. Even after being convicted of the 1969 attack, he somehow makes his way onto The Dating Game show and wins a date with the eligible bachelorette! Fortunately that woman lives to tell the tale as she follows her read on the monster in front of her and ultimately refuses the awarded date. However, most women whom he came into contact with did not have this same opportunity to walk away safely.
