On Episode 5, Brad Dunne joins Dave to chat all about his new novel The Merchant's Mansion. Brad has been working as a freelance writer and editor since 2013. His work explores Newfoundland and Labrador's culture and history through horror and Gothic fiction. He has published three novels (After Dark Vapours, The Gut, and most recently The Merchant's Mansion). His non-fiction has been published in national publications like the Literary Review of Canada, Maisonneuve, and The Walrus. Brad discusses the role of a publisher, where he draws inspiration for his novels, and offers up some advice to aspiring authors.
