The Telegraph’s Assistant Editor Philip Johnston was in Paris when Margaret Thatcher's power started to slip. 

It was the beginning of the end of the Iron Lady’s reign - and it played out in a cobbled courtyard in the French capital. Philip takes us to the Paris summit where world leaders debated a new world order after the Cold War, as votes to oust the Prime Minister were counted back in Westminster.
