Five times in the book of Joel we read the phrase, "the day of the Lord" – but what does this mean? The Day of the Lord is a fixed day that is certainly coming, an inflexible day of righteous judgment upon the world, and God's people are to warn the world of this coming Day of the Lord, as we seek to live each day in light of it.
