Since the forties, the ball park organ has been part of baseball. The organ has been baseball’s loudest fan, cranking up the crowd’s spirit and playing Take Me Out to The Ballgame at the seventh inning stretch. But that’s changing. Now, only about half of major league teams have organists; they’ve been replaced by canned music, manipulated on a computer by a DJ.
