The day the music died-

In 1959- Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper all boarded a plane after doing a show in Clear Lake, Iowa at the Surf Ballroom.  They never made it to Minnesota for their next show.  Forever known from that point on as The Day The Music Died, immortalized in a song by Don McLean that would be sung in karaoke bars for generations to come.

Take a listen for the full story and find out what other famous music artist was almost on the plane that night.
