For the 50th anniversary of Deane's death, Hattie and Jim travel to Vietnam to pay their respects at the site where his helicopter crashed. But they unexpectedly come face to face with a former Vietcong soldier who was involved in the attack on Deane.

In September 1964, Hattie met Deane. They fell in love and got married. But Deane's life was tragically cut short by the war in Vietnam. Fifty years after his death, Hattie, and her now-husband, Jim, set out to find the location in Vietnam where Deane spent his final moments.
