We are beginning a brand-new study through the book of Acts. Before we jump into chapter 1, though, I want to spend some time looking back at the events that took place after Jesus' resurrection. We'll revisit the last part of Luke 24, John chapters 20 and 21, and then work our way into Acts chapter 1.

As we do, we'll see Jesus appear to His disciples, give His final instructions, restore Peter, commission His followers, ascend back to the Father, and prepare them for what would soon happen on the Day of Pentecost. Understanding these events gives us the foundation for everything that follows in the book of Acts.
