Text:  Matthew 28:1-7Intro:  Today, we celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Today, we celebrate the greatest event on the Christian calendar. I am glad Jesus was born. I praise God for the life He lived. But I rejoice that He rose again from the dead. If He had not come out of that grave, we would still be lost and in our sins. (Eph. 2:1&12)After the death of Jesus were a hopeless time for His disciples. Many of His followers watched Him die a horrible death. It was over. He was dead. He was gone. It was a time of hopelessness, of shattered dreams, of broken hearts.
