Shot for $20000 on 16mm and blown up for theatrical showings, “The Deadly Spawn” is exactly what you would expect. The monster has a great design and is very unique. You can spot the design influences from another film with the word “ALIEN” in the title but it has a different take on it.
Everyone should see this movie once. It has a lot of heart and sometimes that is all you need to make something that will entertain an audience.
