Courage. The world is in desperate need of more courage. The opposite of courage is fear and fear seems to be in the very air that we breathe. Fear is everywhere. Fear sells the news. Fear elects presidents. But fear binds, fear holds, fear enslaves. Easter Sunday is all about the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. But the resurrection of Jesus is only the "firstfruits" of the future resurrection of the dead—and the death of death itself. This promise of God is the foundation for a life of unshakable courage.
