As we finish the Advent narrative in the Gospel of Matthew today we come to the end of Herod, which reveals that wicked rulers, governments, and nations shall come to an end and that is very exciting to think about! Also, we know from prophecy there is coming a time when Jesus shall return and the government will then be upon His shoulders and His kingdom shall never end. This gives rise to much hope for the future from the wickedness of the current ways this world has gone in recently!!! Also we have an opportunity to discover the way we often think and act, just as Joseph did! Once it was made known to Joseph it was safe to return to Israel Joseph made a B-line back to his house in Bethlehem only to discover the current ruler was the son of Herod, and being warned once more in a dream Joseph headed North to the region of Galilee in a town called Nazareth! This and much more shall be covered today with Pastor J, but hold on tight cause we're going to get into a hard discussion of how our country is a lot like Israel under the leadership of Herod and why we, like Herod, are killing so many children under the guise of abortion as a hot topic!!!
