On July 18th 1989 Robert John Bardo shot Rebecca Schaeffer on her door step after obsessing and stalking her for 3 years. After sending her letters and showing up to her set of the tv show she was working on didn’t work he became angry. He watched an intimate scene on one of her shows and immediately got jealous. This is when he told his sister in a letter that if he couldn’t have Rebecca than no one could. He tracked down her address using DMV records and murdered her senselessly.
