It is a debate that really has a clear winner. Small muscles have their place in your training. However, big is where it is at. Now, this is not exclusive to the big muscles you are looking for, rather using big muscle groups. Using compound muscle movements such as a clean and press or a deadlift will get you to your strength goal faster than you can say 'hammer curls'. Remember to go big...as in muscle groups and you will see better training and body composition results.
