Listen Later

Hannah's guest in this episode is Paul Bushnell, estates works manager at the University of York. He is currently leading a hugely ambitious geothermal project on campus.

The university hopes to cut its fossil fuel use and spearhead the city of York's net zero ambitions. The project is backed by £35 million in funding.

The aim is to harness the earth's natural heat to decarbonise the campus, while also providing invaluable research and educational opportunities.

Paul gives an insight into the vision behind the project.

This episode features guest voiceovers provided by 'Team Salix' members Amanda and Charles.
