Called upon internationally as a thought-leader and prolific speaker, Aisha Francis has the gift of meshing life narratives, experiences and purpose seamlessly with business strategy and structure. She is a seasoned professional with extensive experience across the corporate, charitable and chosen (aka entrepreneurial) sectors.

Years ago, Aisha walked away from her corporate aspirations intent on unlocking the truest version of herself and becoming her own boss. Today, Aisha is an author and the founder and executive director of the charity, Project: Restore FIBI (Families Impacted By Incarceration). She also started her namesake business strategy and consulting agency, Aisha K. Francis, to help seasoned professionals and emerging entrepreneurs through their own journey of successfully converging what they do as a purposeful extension of who they are.

Through FIBI, Aisha delivers pioneering family-centred community services, promotes sector ingenuity and best practices and unapologetically advances grassroots leadership, scholarship and policy review for families collaterally affected by incarceration. She broadens her commitment to advocacy, community engagement and leadership through mentorship and in her directorship roles on the boards of the Ajax Public Library, the CEE – Centre For Young Black Professionals, Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth, and other committees she sits on. Aisha is the recipient of several awards including the 2017 Social Innovation Challenge People’s Choice Award, the 2019 Queens Rising Together Inspirational Woman Award and is recognized as one of 2020’s 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women.

Unequivocally, who Aisha Francis is begins and ends with her deep relationship with God; followed by her unwavering commitment to her family and her genuine love for people. Life experiences of hardship, resiliency, courage and over 25 years of diverse leadership and business practice have painted her the unique artistry of an audaciously lived life of calling and purpose.
